In order to promote the maritime industry and to train mariners, AVS has an education center. The education center has: simulators, laboratories and workshops that comply with IMO requirements, a main education facility that has a capacity of 670 people, and a functional training facility that has a capacity of 100 people. 120 competent IMO model courses, compatibility (COC) and certification training (seagoing certificates) are offered in accordance with the principles of the STCW contract.
